Bollywood comic action thriller, Masoom, directed by Mahesh Kothare was released in the year 1996. The movie starred Inder Kumar and Ayesha Jhulka in lead roles while Master Omkar Kapoor, Renuka Sahane, Tinnu Anand, Laxmikant Berde, Suresh Oberoi, Mohan Joshi and Arun Bakshi also played important characters in the film. The hit melodious music of the movie was composed by none other than well knwon music director Anand Raj Anand while the songs were rendered by Kumar Sanu, Alka Yagnik, Babul Supriyo, Aditya Narayan etc.

The movie starts with an army officer, Vikram Singh ( Suresh Oberoi ), who is brutally killed by a deadly criminal named Barood ( Mohan Joshi ). Vikram’s wife, Yashoda ( Renuka Sahane ) is then forced to brought up her son, Kishan ( Master Omkar Kapoor ) on her own. Kishan is a very happy go lucky boy who is always ready to play pranks with people. Yashoda then arrives in the city to meet her brother, Hawaldar Bhim Singh ( Tinnu Anand ) but unfortunately Kishan get lost when he runs after two theifs who robs her mother’s purse.

On the otherhand, there is a guy named Akash ( Inder Kumar ), who needs to hide somewhere as some goons are after him. He is rescued by a beautiful girl named Chanda ( Ayesha Jhulka ) who also provides him shelter in her house. Akash is also on a run from Barood’s goon as he is having some evidences against him. What happens next? Whether Akash will be able to save his life from Barrod? Where is Kishan?
