Meerabai Not Out is a sports movie that is going to release on December 5, 2008 under the banner of Pritish Nandy Communications. The movie is beng directed by Chandrakant Kulkarni and produced by Rangita Pritish Nandy. The top roles in the movie are played by Mandira Bedi, Eijaz Khan, Anupam Kher and Mahesh Manjrekar. The music of the film is being directed by Sandesh Shandilya and the songs are sung by Neeraj Shridhar, Sandesh Shandilya, Sunidhi Chauhan, Vijay Prakash and Shaan.

Meerabai Not Out is a yet another sports movie that is going to be produced in the Bollywood. Cricket is the sports that this movie focuses and that too in the cicket crazy nation. The movie is the craziest and the most wonderful love story with hearts and emotions not involved much, instead what it involve is the cricket bat. The story of the movie revolves around Meera Achrekar ( Mandira Bedi ) who is a mathematics teacher at Vishwaprem Vidyalaya. She has been single for quite a long and is happy with that.

There are just two things in her life cricket and Anil Kumble that are much close to her heart. She is also very famous in her school for being the more fanatic person about her religion cricket even than the schoo cricket captain. She was soon introduced to Wankhede Stadium by her brother, Manoj Anant Achrekar ( Mahesh Manjrekar ). Manoj had played the cricket at the Ranji Trophy level. Manoj gave up his passion to make the ends meet and overcome the family economic crisis. Today Manoj do not believe in cricket.
