The movie Mehbooba starring Ajay Devgan, Sanjay Dutt and Manisha Koirala in lead roles is going to release on 11th July 2008. The movie is directed as well as produced by the renowned Director Afzal Khan. The songs of the movie are sung by the famous singers Udit Narayan, Alka Yagnik, Sanjay Dutt, Ajay Devgan, Sonu Nigam, Shankar Mahadevan, Kavita Krishnamurthy, Sukhwinder Singh, Aslam Sabri. The Music Director of the movie is Ismail Darbar who had produced quite good songs over a period of time.

The movie starts with the story of Shravan Dhariwal (Sanjay Dutt) who is a Business Tycoon living in New York, the right place for someone with attractive personality, looks and money. Shravan is rich and capable of having with him whatever he dreams of. The bachelor loves being with the hot gals out there. He thought that his money can get him any beauty but then, to his surprise, he met Varsha (Manisha Koirala). The typical Indian girl was someone who was unimpressed by his money. Shravan amused by her ethics and values started giving her costly gifts which she kept on refusing.

Later Shravan realized that women are not commodities and hence can’t be bought by gifting expensive gifts. After apologizing and expressing his love to her, he asks her father for them to get married. The couple then went on the honeymoon. The major turn in the movie comes at this spot when Shravan tells her that the whole thing was just to sleep with her. Heartbroken Varsha left the place to start a new journey in life and moved as far as she could.

Karan (Ajay Devgan), younger brother of Shravan then decides to get married with the angel in her life Payal whom he could never stop praising. Karan is settled in Europe and completely different from his brother. Later Shravan gets to know that the girl his brother is going to marry is none other than Varsha herself.
