The action movie Mera Haque was released on November 28, 1986. The movie was directed by Ajay Kashyap and produced by Bobby Raaj. The key roles in the movie were played by Sanjay Dutt, Shakti Kapoor, Anita Raaj and Anil Grover while Bindu, Raza Murad, Gulshan Grover, Ramesh Deo, Jagdish Raaj and Urmila Bhat were also there in the film. The music of the film was directed by Anu Malik while the songs were sung by Kishore Kumar.

The movie Mera Haque was an action film that revolved mostly around an aristocratic Amar Singh ( Sanjay Dutt ) who is now a heir to their estate left by his late father. The life of Amar was going all fine until the day his father re-married a cruel and calculating woman named Ranimaa ( Bindu ) who has been mismanaging the estate for her own personal gain. She was helped in her intentions by her brother, Dhartiprasad ( Shakti Kapoor ), her Diwan ( Ramesh Deo ) and his son ( Gulshan Grover ).

The movie takes a turn when Ranimaa finds that Amar was interfering in her process, so she orders him to be killed by planting a bomb in his car. After some time, differences also arise between Ranimaa and Dhartiprasad so she also asks him to leave. On his way home Dhartiprasad comes across a hoodlum named Amru Dada who was just like the look alike of Amar. Thus Dhartiprasad persuades Amru to impersonate Amar and then takes him to the palace.
