Bollywood family drama, Mera Pati Sirf Mera Hai, directed by Manobala and written by Narayan Rao dasari was released in the year 1990. The movie starred Jeetendra and Rekha in lead roles while Raadhika, Mahavir Shah, Anupam Kher, Gulshan Grover, Satish Shah, Utpal Dutt, Pradeep Singh Rawat and Kamaldeep also played importanat characters in the film. The melodious music of the movie was directed by the well known music director duo Anand Milind while the songs were rendered by S. P. Balasubramaniam, Amit Kumar, Lata Mangeshkar, Sapna Mukherjee etc.

Prakash Chandra ( Jeetendra ) is married to Roopa ( Raadhika ), who is the daughter of his boss named Manoharlal Sharma ( Utpal Dutt ). They have a duaghter named Sharda aka Pinky. Roopa has noticed right after her marraige with Prakash that he is not interested at all in her. She suspects that Prakash is having an extramarital affair with some other women. Condition becomes even worse when she starts suspecting Prakash to have an affair with a lady named Sharda Sharma ( Rekha ), who has just moves into their neighbourhood. She starts spreading rumours about Sharda and Prakash.

As a result of theses rumours no one agrees to get married with Sharda. Sharda then decides to teach a lesson of Roopa and enters in her house claiming that she is the mistress of Prakash. Prakash too agress to this and welcomes her to live alongwith them. Roopa then leaves the house. But problem starst when Prakash’s daughter goes missing and police arrest Sharda in the charge of abducting her.
