Bollywood movie, Mere Do Anmol Ratan, directed by K. Ravi Shankar was released in the year 1988. The movie starred Arshad Warsi, Mukul Dev and Namrata Shirodkar in lead roles while Kadar Khan, Sdashiv Amrapurkar, Nilofer, Suresh Bhagwat, Reema Lagoo, Beena banerjee and Dinesh Hingoo also played significant characters in the film. The melodious music of the movie was composed by none other than well knwon music director Rajesh Roshan while the songs were rendered by Udit Narayan, Alka Yagnik etc.

The movie starts with a couple, Mahesh ( Sadashiv Amrapurkar ) and Suman ( Reema Lagoo ), who have not been blessed with any child. A miracle happens and she gets pregnant. She gives birth to a child in the hospital but unfortunately her child is replaced by by another child. Now the mother of that child is nor more alive and Suman is confused about selecting her own son. So at the end, she takes both of them to home. She alongwith her husband, Mahesh names the children, Suren ( Mukul Dev ) and Naren ( Arshad Warsi ).

A guy named Mejor Bhagwat Singh ( Kadar Khan ) enters in their house and claims that he is the father of one of the boys. But he also fails to identify his son from Suren and Naren. Then it is decided that both of the boys will grow up in the loving care of Suman. Years later, Suren and naren are now grown up guys. Mahesh’s friend’s daughter named Kiran ( Namrata Shirodkar ) enters in their house and takes it on herself to reveal who is the real son of Mahesh and Suman. But her entry in the house results in several other problems.
