The romantic movie Mere Jeevan Saathi was released on February 3, 2006 under the banners of Kareena Sana Combine and Shree Krishna International. The movie was directed by Suneel Darshan and produced by Suraj Prakash and M. Riaz. The main roles were played by Akshay Kumar, Amisha Patel, Karisma Kapoor and Gulshan Grover while the supporting roles were played by Aashish Vidyarthi, Alok Nath and Rakesh Bedi. The music was directed by Nadeem-Shravan and the songs were sung by Sonu Nigam, Alisha Chinoy, Alka Yagnik, Kumar Sanu and Udit Narayan.

The movie Mere Jeevan Saathi looks balanced in terms of story and music but the only thing bad about it is that it mostly revolves around music and a musician’s life. It is a story of two women, one of whom loves while the other wants the person to love her. The movie is directed by Suneel Darshan who had starred his favorite Akhshay Kumar in the film. The movie is also the first negative role film of Karisma Kapoor. Vicky ( Akshay Kumar ) is in deep love with a girl of his dreams Anjali ( Amisha Patel ). He is an aspiring pop singer and is greatly inspired by Anjali.

Vicky was engaged to work with a firm owned by Morani and Torani. He also received an exciting offer to perform a stage show in Canada by a Canada based Music Company Angel International Music and that too at some profitable package. He accepted the offer and now Morani and Torani wanted to destroy him. He leaves for Canada and comes across Natasha ( Karisma Kapoor ), the owner of the Music company. Natasha falls for him and there was a moment when they share their physical intimacy. Vicky feels cynical between his love for Anjali and loyalty to Natasha.
