Bollywood romantic movie, Mere Mehboob, directed by Harnam Singh Rawail was rekleased in the year 1963. The movie starred Rajendra Kumar and Sadhana Shivdasani in lead roles while Ashok Kumar, Nimmi, Pran, Johnny Walker and Ameeta also played important roles in the film. The melodious music of the movie was composed by the well knwon music diretor Naushad while the songs were rendered by Mohammed Rafi, Lata Mangeshkar, Asha Bhonsle etc.

The movie starts with young and handsome, Anwar ( Rajendra Kumar ) who studies in a college. He meets with a beautiful girl named Husna ( Sadhana Shivdasani ) and falls in love with her in first sight. He tries to get close to the girl so that he can express his love to her. But Husna never gives him any chance to tell her about his love for her. Husna herself also starst developing feeling for Anwar but tries to show that there is nothing in her heart for him at all. But Anwar is also determined to know how Husna feels about him.

Anwar takes help of Husna’s friend and somehow manage to learn that Husna is also in love with him but is shy of telling him. Anwar decides to create such a condition that Husna will have to express her love in front of him. Husna finally tells him about her feelings. Anwar and Husna starts meeting daily and plans to get married soon. But this love story is not so simple and easy as it seems. It has many turns and problem in it. What will be the afte of Anwar and Husna’s relationship?
