Bollywood action thriller, Moojrim, directed by Kewal Mishra and written by Charandas Shokh was released in the year 1970. The movie starred Joy Mukherjee and Kumud Chuggani in lead roles while Rajan Haksar, Brahmchari, Jayant, Jayshree T., Birbal and Hiralal also played important roles in the film. The melodious music of the movie was directed by the music director Om Prakash Sharma while the songs were crooned by Mohammed Rafi, Mahendra Kapoor, Shamshad Begum and Asha Bhonsle.

The movie starts with a guy named Gopal ( Joy Mukherjee ), who is a champion car racer. One day he witnesses an incident where two assailants tries to assualt a girl. He comes to the rescue of that girl and beats the assailants. But he get shcoked to see that the girl has fled away meanwhile. The very next day he is arrested by police for killing one of the assailant. Gopal tries to convince the police that he is innocent but fails as police has the evidence against him.

Gopal is sentenced to prison for a long time but while being transported to jail, he manage to run away from the police. He is helped by a truck driver named Ganga Singh ( Dev Kumar ) and his sister, Manju ( Kumud Chuggani ). Gopal and Manju falls in love with each other. Gopal learns that a deadly don, Gangaram ( Jayant ) is also after his life besides police. What will happen now?
