The movie Mumbai Salsa was released on October 26, 2007 and was bannered under ASA Film Pvt Ltd. The social movie has been directed by Manoj Tyagi and produced by Amita Bishnoi, Surendra Sharma and Bhagwanti Gabrani. The main actors in the film were Linda Arsenio, Dilip Thadeshwar, Indraneel Sengupta and Manjari Phadnis while Vir Das and Alisha Chinoy were also there in the film. The music has been directed by Adnan Sami and the singers of the film were Alisha Chinoy, Shaan, Kunal Ganjawala, Gayatri Ganjawala and Shreya Ghosal.

Mumbai Salsa is an effort by the director to portray the facts of the corporate world and how fast the time has changed. Earlier a person had enough time for love and even his work but now days in modern world, the youth is unable to manage both the things. The movie depicts the relationship that exists within the corporate world. The story of the movie is about few young people whose lives changes completely when they met in a bar. Rajeev Sharma ( Vir das ) is an executive working in an ad agency and is romantic by nature but was unable to figure out why his relationships don’t go long.

Karan ( Indraneil SenGupta ) works in a bank, believes in fun and didn’t want to have any commitments but didn’t know that he can change some day. Subramanium ( Dilip Thadeshwar ) work in the same agency where Rajeev worked but was quite different from him. He was not like the others and was a simple guy. Shahji ( Raymond Irani ) was a gym instructor and was a flirt too but it took him a long time before he found someone with whom he can have a good time. Maya ( Manjari Fadnis ) worked as a HR head in a bank and was a simple girl who was a firm believer in love.
