Munnabhai MBBS was a comedy movie released on December 19, 2003 under the banners of Vinod Chopra Prod and Entertainment One. The movie was directed by Rajkumar Hirani and produced by Vidhu Vinod Chopra. The main roles were played by Sanjay Dutt, Arshad Warsi, Gracy Singh and Jimmy Shergill while the roles of Sunil Dutt and Boman Irani were equally important. Music of the film was directed by Anu Malik and the songs were sung by Sunidhi Chauhan, Shreya Ghosal, Anu Malik, Shaan and Priya Mayekar.

The movie Munnabhai MBBS is a comedy film which was most famous for its so called Gandhigiri. The story of the movie revolves around Munnabhai ( Sanjay Dutt ) who is a happy person living with his gang members and is famous for settling financial disputes through his Dadagiri. Munna was living happily until it was the time of his parents’ annual visit. Munna’s father Hari Prasad Sharma ( Sunil Dutt ) is a idealistic and moralistic man who believed that Munna is a doctor running a charity hospital.

This time also, like the previous year, Munna along with his gang members gears up for his father’s visit and does their homework. They bathe, shave, wear white coats with stethoscopes and looked the proper doctors. His father comes across Dr. Asthana ( Boman Irani ), an old friend, and decides to get their children married as both both are doctors. Hari Prasad gets to know the reality and breaks loose. Munna now decides to become the real doctor and he takes every approach possible to fulfill his father’s dreams.
