The action movie Musafir was released on December 10, 2004 under the banner of White Feather Films. The movie was directed and produced by Sanjay Gupta. The lead roles in the movie were played by Anil Kapoor, Sameera Reddy, Sanjay Dutt and Aditya Pancholi while the roles of Koena Mitra and Shakti Kapoor were also important. Music of the film was directed by Shekhar Ravjiani and Vishal Dadlani while the songs were sung by Sunidhi Chauhan, K K, Anand Raj Anand, Sukhwinder Singh and Sanjay Dutt.

Musafir is the movie that portrays the real facts of this violent world and also teaches us the lesson that in this world no one can be trusted. The movie has too many twists to confuse the audience and no direction. The characters in the film are immoral and money hungry who can do anything for it. Lucky ( Anil Kapoor ) wanted to pursue a simple work now after being tired of the work he had been doing. He plans to quit the job after taking the last con job of his life and hopes to lead a life of good person.

But Lucky’s destiny was not in favor of this, his girlfriend Lara ( Koena Mitra ) betrays him that also makes him the target of a drug lord Billa ( Sanjay Dutt ). To escape from him Lucky takes another drug eal in Goa. There he come across a charming girl Sam ( Sameera Reddy ) who has a suspecting husband Luka ( Mahesh Manjrekar ). Luka asks Lucky to kill Sam as he feels that she is a loose character and offers him good money. Lucky managed to escape from police officer Tiger ( Aditya Pancholi ) but loses his money in the process.
