The action crime movie Na Insafi was released on June 30, 1989. The movie was directed by Mehul Kumar and produced by Arjun Moolchadani. The main roles in the movie were played by Shatrughan Sinha, Sonam, Chunky Pandey and Gulshan Grover while the roles of Kiran Kumar, Mandakini, Raza Murad, Amrish Puri, Asrani, Iftekhar, Aruna Irani, Viju Khote and Sujit Kumar were also significant. The music of the film was directed by Bappi Lahiri.

The movie Na Insafi was an action cum crime movie that revolved mostly around a widow judge Kedarnath Sinha ( Om Shiv Puri ) who lives a wealthy lifestyle with his two sons, one of whom is a CBI Inspector named Vijay ( Shatrughan Sinha ), and other is a college going student Sonu ( Chunky Pandey ). The sad condition of Vijay was due to an incident that happened on his 5th birthday when his parents were attacked by a local gangster named Billa ( Amrish Puri ).

Billa killed DCP Ravi Khanna ( Sujit Kumar ), cut-off Kedarnath’s right hand, & abducted, raped and brutally assaulted Sharda Khanna ( Aruna Irani ). The twist in the story comes when Sonu was celebrating his 25th birthday and he was told by his father that he was actually Sharda and Billa’s son. Sonu was shocked and left the Sinha family at once. Now Sonu is wanted by the Police for helping dreaded killer, Kaalia ( Kiran Kumar ), escape from prison.
