The musical drama Naach was released on November 12, 2004 under the banners of Sahara One, Factory and K Sera Sera. The movie was directed and produced by Ram Gopal Varma and the important roles were enacted by Abhishek Bachchan, Ritesh Deshmukh and Antra Mali while the supporting roles were played by Rajesh Khera and Manoj Pahwa. The music of the film was directed by Amar Mohile and the songs were sung by Shweta Pandit, Adnan Sami, Gayatri Ganjawala, Sukhwinder Singh and Sonu Kakkar.

The director of the film Naach, Ram Gopal Varma tried to put some different elements in the movie but continued to work with the same actor Anatar Mali. It is an intense love story between two people with strong principles and values that first separate them but soon bring them together. The movie shows the struggle of two individuals that wanted to make their name in the film industry. It is the story of Reva ( Antara Mali ) who is an aspiring choreographer getting complaints of her dance being outdated and emotionless. Now she wants to change the style of choreography in the films.

Secondly it is the story of Abhi ( Abhishek Bachchan ) who is a struggling actor. He has now accepted the industry as it is and wants a break in the film soon. His luck shines and gets his first acting break in a film while Reva was disappointed because she was replaced by another choreographer chosen by the actress. Soon Reva got her chance she was looking for. She was asked to choreograph a music video offered by a music company owned by Diwakar ( Ritesh Deshmukh ). The struggling actors became stars now.
