Bollywood family drama, Nadiya Ke Paar, directed by Govind Moonis was released in the year 1982. The movie starred Sachin and Sadhana Singh in lead roles while Mitali, Soni rathod, Savita bajaj, Inder Thakur, Sheela david and Leela Mishra also played importanat characters in the film. The hit melodious music of the movie was directed by the well known veteran music director Ravindra Jain while the songs were beautifully crooned by Jaspal Singh, Suresh Wadkar, Hemlata, Chandrani Mukherjee etc.

The movie starts with a guy named Chandan ( Sachin ), who lives alongwith his elder brother and uncle in a village. He meets with a girl named Gunja ( Sadhana Singh ), who is from some another village. They fall in love with each other at first sight. Fortunately, Gunbja’s elder sister, Roopa ( Mitali ) get married to Chandan’s elder brother. This brings Chandan and Gunja more close to each other. They are determined to get married to each other but destiny strikes and Roopa’s dies in an accident.

Now the family decides that Chandan’s brother should get married again with some other girl. And that’s where the problem starts as the family proposes marraige to Gunja. Chandan and Gunja get shcoked with this decision. Gunja decides to tell about her love relationship with Chandan to her parents. But Chandan stops her from doing so as he does not want anything bad for his brother. He ask Gunja to get married with his brother. Now Gunja must decide whether she wants to get married with Chandan or his brother.
