The social romantic movie Namastey London has been released on March 23, 2007 under the banners of Adlabs Films Ltd and Blockbuster Movie Entertainers. This famous movie has been directed and produced by Vipul Shah. The lead roles in the film were played by Akshay Kumar, Upen Patel, Katrina Kaif, Rishi Kapoor and Javed Sheikh. The other important roles were played by Tiffany Mulheron, Shaana Diya and also there were special appearances by Vipul Shah and Ritesh Deshmukh. The music director of the film was Himesh Reshammiya and the songs were sung by Himesh Reshammiya, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan and Akruti Kakkar.

Namastey London is a romantic movie about a Jatt guy and a beautiful girl living in London. The movie revolves around Arjun ( Akshay Kumar ) who starts loving Jazz and wanted to marry her. Jazz or Jasmeet ( Katrina Kaif ) didn’t want to marry him and thus made a plan to escape from there and return to London to her British boyfriend. Two got married but Jazz denied the fact. Arjun was helpless but was a determined lover and tried his full to win her heart. Jazz was brought up in England and this is why she didn’t like Indians. Manmohan Singh ( Rishi Kapoor ), father of Jazz, tried to convince her a lot but to no avail.

Imran Khan ( Upen Patel ), the Best friend of Jazz, was also brought up in England and it was his idea which ruined Arjun’s life. He was a complete flirt and the Britisher has his British girlfriend. Parvez Khan ( Javed Shaikh ) was the Best friend of Manmohan Singh and also Imran’s father. He loved his son but can not tolerate him having live in relationships with her girlfriend. Jazz was determined to marry her British boyfriend Charlie Brown but the sincere efforts and the true love of Arjun made her change her mind.
