Bollywood romantic thriller, Naseeb, directed by Kirti Kumar was released in the year 1997. The movie starred Govinda and Mamta Kulkarni in lead roles while Rahul Roy, Kadar Khan, Saeed Jaffrey, Shakti Kapoor, Madan Joshi, Mukesh Rishi and Ajit vachchani also played significant characters in the film. The hit music of the ovie was directed by there famous music director duo Nadeem-Shravan while the songs were rendered by Kumar Sanu, Udit Narayan, Alka Yagnik, Anuradha paudwal, Babul Supriyo etc.

The movie starts with a poor guy named Krishna Prasad ( Govinda ), who is in love with a beautiful girl named Pooja ( Mamta Kulkarni ). Krishna and Pooja are planning to get married soon. But Din Dayal ( Ajit Vachchani ), father of Pooja, does not like her relationship with Krishna and wants her to get married with a wealthy guy. Krishna learns about Pooja’s father’s intentions and promise him that he will soon return as a wealthy person. Krishna made him promise that he will never force Pooja to get married with someone else. Din Dayal agrres and Krishna leaves to become rich person.

Time passes but Krishna does not return after five long years. Din Dayal thinks that Krishna will never return now and therefore he gets Pooja married to a well settled guy named Deepak ( Rahul Roy ). Shortlt after Deepak and Pooja’s marrige, Krishna returns. Krishna is now a multi-millionaire. Krishna get shocked to learn that Pooja is now married to some another guy. Krishna is angry with pooja and wants to ruin her life. He decides to create misunderstanding between deepak and Pooja.
