Bollywood comic action thriller, Naukar Biwi ka, directed by Raj Kumar Kohli was released in the yeaar 1983. The movie starred Dharmendra and Anita Raj in lead roles while Reena Roy, Raj Babbar, Kadar Khan, Om Prakash, Susham Seth, Jala Agha, Pran, Om Prakash, Rajeev Anand, Vinod Mehra, A. K. Hangal and Neeta mehta also played important characters in the film. The music of the movie was composed by the well known music director Bappi Lahiri while the songs were beautifully crooned by Kishore Kumar, Asha Bhonsle etc. The movie was proved out to be a instant hit of that year.

The movie starts with an honest and bave police inspector Amar nath ( Vinod Mehra ), who arrests a notorious gangster named Deshbandhu Jaggannath ( Kadar Khan ). Deshbandhu is sentenced to prison for a long period of time. Amar belongs to a wealthy family but he defies his father Jagirdar Bishambher Nath ( Om Prakash ) for marrrying a poor girl named Sheela Sharma ( Neeta Mehta ). Amar and Sheela starst leaving a separate life and soon Sheela gives brith to a daughter named Jyoti ( Anita Raj ). Amar arranges a child marraige of Jyoti with young Deepak Kumar ( Dharmendra ). Meanwhile Deshbandhu manage to escape from the prison and kills Amar and sheela leaving behind Jyoti in the arms of their loyal employee Abdul ( Pran ).

Abdul saves Jyoti from Deshbandhu and manage to take her to Bishambher Nath. Years later, Deepak’s mom comes to Bishambher Nath for confirming his son marriage with Jyoti. But Jyoti shuns him and this enrages deepak who decides to teach her a lesson. Jyoti is in love with a wealthy guy named Raman ( Prem Chopra ), who is actually after Jyoti’s wealth. Deepak meets with a bollywood actress, Sandhaya ( Reena Roy ) and falls in love with her. But he knows that his love will never reach its destinantion as he is already married to Jyoti.
