Nishabd was a romantic movie released on March 2, 2007 and was bannered under Factory and Adlabs Films Ltd. The movie was directed and produced by Ram Gopal Varma and includes Amitabh Bachchan and Jiah Khan in the lead roles while Aftab Shivdasani, Revathi and Shraddha Arya also played the important roles. The music of the film was directed by Vishal Bharadwaj and Amar Mohile. The songs of the movie were sung by Amitabh Bachchan and Jiah Khan themselves.

The film casts Amitabh Bachchan and a newcomer Jiah Khan. The story of the movie is based on the relationships between a young girl and an old man and this is why several issues were attached to it. The story of the movie is about a 60 year old photographer named Vijay ( Amitabh Bachchan ) and a young 18 year old sexy gal Jiah ( Jiah Khan ).

Vijay is a wildlife photographer living with his family in a hill station. Jiah is his daughter’s friend who has come to spend her holidays with them. Vijay started liking her when he saw her enjoying her youthful activities and he started capturing her in his camera. He also sees her getting wet while she was watering the plants and he started fantasing about her. Jiah too was attracted towards her and confesses her love. Everyone in the family was shocked to know about Vijay’s romance with her. The movie raises the fact that attraction can exists at any age.
