The comedy movie Oye Lucky! Lucky Oye! Is under production and will be releasing on November 28, 2008 under the banner of UTV Motion Pictures. The movie is being directed by Dibakar Banerjee and produced by Ronnie Screwvala. The important roles in the movie are played by Abhay Deol, Archana Puran Singh, Neetu Chandra and Paresh Rawal. The music of the film is directed by Sneha Khanwalkar and the songs are sung by Himani Kapoor, Mika Singh, Dilbahar, Des Raj Lakhani, Brijesh Shandilya and Rajbir.

The movie “Oye Lucky! Lucky Oye!” is a different movie that is full of comedy at regular intervals of time. It is a story of a 15-year-old lower middle class Sikh kid from West Delhi, who later rises to become the most famous thief of India. He didn’t have much with him when he was a kid and his bullying father made sure that he lived in miserable conditions. This is a story of Lucky Singh who is a lovable thief, someone whom, even, the Delhi police are fond of. He uses his smartness and intelligence to make use of the people like chowkidars and policemen to carry out his activities.

Lucky along with his childhood friend Bangali, became the famous thieves. The turn in the story come when they meet a musical band leader, Gogi Bhai. Lucky soon become his main player. He was always impressed by the glamour and the lifestyle of the rich people of Delhi and his journey from a middle class boy to a renowned thief turns him into a colorful playboy. Now he needs more than money that includes social respect.
