Paagalpan was a romantic movie released on June 8, 2001. The movie was directed by Joy Augustine and produced by Ravi Dodi and Rajiv Shah. The significant roles in the movie were enacted by Karan Nath, Bharat Dabholkar, Aarti Agarwal and Joy Fernandes while the presence of Farhan Khan and Talat Rekhi supported the film. The story revolves around Roma Pinto ( Aarti Aggarwal ), a young and beautiful teenage girl enjoying her life to the fullest. She has five brothers and is their only sister. Her brothers Arun ( Dr. Vilas ), Jack ( Bharat Dhabolkar ), Sunny ( Joy Fernandes ), Harry ( Howard Rosemeyer ) and Bunty ( Farhan Khan ) cares for her a lot.

Along with the sister, the brothers love each other and are like the pillars of their family. They are chasing their dreams and are living for the love of one another. They care so much for their sister that wanted the perfect guy for her. They come across a dashing guy Sameer Malhotra ( Karan Nath ) whom they consider as the wrong guy. He is the only son of his father’s millions and the story that follows is his chase for love.
