Paap Ka Anth was an action movie released on December 8, 1989. The movie was directed by Vijay Reddy and produced by Gautam Bokadia. The top roles in the movie were played by Govinda, Hema Malini, Madhuri Dixit and Rajesh Khanna while the roles of Anupam Kher, Tej Sapru, Asrani, Guddi Maruti, Mac Mohan, Vikas Anand and Birbal were also important. The roles of Dinesh Hingoo, Viju Khote, Lalita Kumari and Jagdish Raj were also important. The music of the film was directed by Bappi Lahiri.

Paap Ka Anth was an action cum crime movie that revolves mostly around an Advocate Jyoti who practices law in Bombay High Court. Jyoti is in deep love with Deputy Commissioner of Police Khanna and both plans to marry one day to each other. Khanna was on an investigation of a case and soon finds out that Vikram ( Mahavir Shah ) and a gangster named Shakaal ( Ranjeet ) has committed murders. He arrests both of them and holds them for a Court hearing.

But the twist in the story comes when Khanna was killed just before the hearing and the evidences were not able to be collected. This incident made the accused go free. Jyoti was in deep anger after this incident and thus wanted to teach Vikram and Shakaal a lesson. She soon finds out that Vikram is Minister Prajapati’s son, and Shakaal is also linked with this politician. As a result she and her sister Nisha were abducted where Nisha was gang raped by Shakaal and his men.
