Paap Ki Aandhi was an action movie released in 1991. The movie was produced by Ramesh Gahlani and the director of the movie was Mehul Kumar. The lead roles in the movie were played by Dharmendra, Amrita Singh, Shakti Kapoor and Raza Murad. Other appreciable roles were played by Gurbachan, Raj Kiran, Beena and Bharat Kapoor. The music of the movie was directed by Laxmikant Kudalkar and Pyarelal while the singers were Sudesh Bhosle, Alka Yagnik, Amit Kumar and Shobha Joshi. The lyricist was Anand Bakshi.

The movie opens with a gangster named Dharma ( Dharmendra ) who threatens people and collects money from them. No one dares to speak against Dharma except a brave police officer named Inspector Dilawar ( Shakti Kapoor ). Dharma gets frustrated by Dilawar’s interference so he assaults him. Dharma becomes famous and many gangsters want him to join them but he rejected. A criminal named Jaggu is sent to molest Dharma’s sister Kamla ( Beena Banerjee ) by the thugs as Dharma refused their proposal but he is successful in saving his sister.

Kamla is in love with Vijay ( Raj Kiran ) and Dharma is happy about this. Dharma is arrested and is sentenced with the help of Vijay, the only witness of his crime. Enraged Dharma, escapes and rapes Vijay’s sister Laxmi ( Anjana Mumtaz ), on the other hand Vijay is killed by Jaggu. Dharma is now again arrested by the police and suffers a 30 year imprisonment. On his return him he finds that his widowed sister has a son who is an inspector and Laxmi also has a son who is now the new Dharma of the place.
