Bollywood action thriller, Paap Ki Duniya, directed by Shibu Mitra and written by Ram Kelkar was released on March 18, 1989. The movie starred Sunny Deol and Neelam Kothari in lead roles while Chunkey Pandey, Pran, Danny Denzongpa, Shakti Kapoor, Seema deo, Mac Mohan, Sudhir Dalvi and Paintalalso played important roles in the film. The melodious hit music of the film was directed by none other than the well knwon music directopr Bappi lahiri while the songs were rendered by Kishore Kumar, Shabbir Kumar, Shailendra Singh, Lata Mangeshkar, Asha Bhonsle etc.

The movie starts with Suraj ( Sunny Deol ), who is abducted by a gangster named Pasha ( Danny Denzongpa ) in his childhood. Suraj is actually the son of a Jailer ( Pran ). Pasha brought up Suraj as his own son and makes him a deadly criminal. Years later, Suraj has grown up now. He is an expert in unlocking any type of safe and also works as a hit man for Pasha. Then he meets with a beautiful girl named Aarti ( Neelam Kothari ) and falls in love with her. Aarti too starts liking him and soon they both expresses their love to each other.

Inspector Vijay ( Chunkey Pandey ), who is the childhood friend of Aarti recognize Suraj after meeting him for the first time. He tells about Suraj’s real profession to aarti. Aarti get shocked to know this and decides to leave him. Suraj makes pleas to her and she agrees to be with him only on the condition that Suraj has to leave the crime world. He promise her to do so but there are som ebig problems in his path.
