The action movie Paap Ko Jala Kar Raakh Kar Doonga was released on September 23, 1988. The movie was directed by K R Reddy and Ravi while it was produced by Rambabu and Shyam. The significant roles in the movie were played by Dharmendra, Govinda, Farha and Anita Raaj while the supporting roles were played by Sadashiv Amrapurkar, Kulbhushan Kharbanda, Tanuja and Gita Siddharth. The music of the film was directed by Ravindra Jain while the songs were sung by Mohammad Aziz, Anuradha Paudwal, S.P.Balasubramaniam, Suresh Wadkar and Kishore Kumar.

Paap Ko Jala Kar Raakh Kar Doonga was an action movie that revolved mostly around a bachelor named Shankar Saxena ( Dharmendra ) who lived with his elder brother and a Chief Engineer Vinay Saxena ( Kulbhushan Kharbanda ), his wife, Kavita Saxena ( Tanuja ), and their daughter, Pooja ( Farha ) who is now of marriageable age. There was something unknown about Shankar that he was an undercover CBI Officer and this thing was hidden from his family as well.

Vinay wanted Pooja to marry Deepak Malhotra ( Govinda ) who is an officer in his office but didn’t know that Deepak and Pooja have already met and are very much in love. The only problem with Deepak was that he comes from a poor background and lives with his blind mother but Vinay don’t see this as a problem. The twist in the story comes when Vinay suspects Deepak of accepting bribes from a corrupt builder named Shaadilal ( Shakti Kapoor ) and fires him pending a police investigation.
