Bollywood movie, Partner, directed by David Dhawan was released on 20 july 2007. The movie starred Salman Khan, Govinda, Lara Dutta and Katrina Kaif in lead roles while Rajpal Yadav, Puneet Issar and Aarti Chhabria also played significant roles in the movie. The music of the movie was given by Sajid-Wajid. The movie is infact a bollywood version of the hollywood movie Hitch. This movie made the successful comeback of Govinda in the bollywood industry. David is also planning to make a sequel of this film in near future.

The movie starst with Prem ( Salman Khan ), who is a Love Guru and solves the love issues of people. He is leading a tension free life untill he meets Bhaskar Diwakar Chaudhary ( Govinda ) who wants his help in his love life. Bhaskar is in love with his boss Priya Jaisingh ( Katrina Kaif ) but don‘t know how to express his love to her. Prem initially refuses to help Bhaskar as he thinks that it would not be possible for him to match make Priya and Bhaskar. Prem goes to Thailand but Bhaskar also follows him there. In the end Bhaskar finally convinces Prem to help him.

Both of them returns to India. Prem starts teaching Bhaskar about how to impress Priya. But stupid Bhaskar every time make a mistake. But Bhaskar’s starts teaching Bhaskar how to impress Priya. But Bhaskar’s simplicity and non-sense acts impresses Priya and she falls in love with him. Meanhile Prem meets Naina ( Lara Dutta ), a journalist who is after a gangster Chhota Don ( Rajpal Yadav ). Prem falls in love with her. Prem and Bhaskar come to know that Priya is getting married to someone according to her father’s will. They arrives at the marraige and convinces her father that Bhaskar is the only person made for Priya in the world. Priya now gets ready to marry Bhaskar.
