Parwana was an action movie released on September 12, 2003 under the banner of Bahry Films. The movie was directed and produced by Deepak Bahry. The significant roles in the movie were played by Ajay Devgan, Pooja Batra, Amisha Patel and Ketaki Dave while the presence of Gulshan Grover and Kader Khan supported the film. The music of the film was directed by Darshan and Sanjeev while the songs were sung by Farid Sabri, Vinod Rathod, Preeti Uttam, Udit Narayan and Jaspinder Narula.

The movie Parwana directed by Deepak Bahry is a usual Bollywood flick with the same old story but what it has done is that it has updated it’s look, has some special effects and a narrative story that keeps the viewers hooked. The movie has an Indo-Pak view and a patriotic flavor, yet it misses on zeal to interest the audience. The movie begins when a fierce terrorist Shahtaj ( Sharat Saxena ) of the Lashkar-e-Mujahideen seeks help from friends across the border to gain Kashmir’s freedom.

Shahtaj started spreading terror by keeping a bomb in an amusement park where several innocent people die. He soon gets captured the police. Parwana ( Ajay Devgan ) is a small conman who has the habit of cheating the rich bad people but has the heart of sharing the valuables with the poor. Whenever he gets caught by the Inspector Hardev Singh Haryanvi ( Sadashiv Amrapurkar ), he is rescued by Haryanvi’s wife (Ketaki Dave). He come across a bubbly girl Pooja ( Amisha Patel ) and falls in love with her.
