Phool Khile Hain Gulshan Gulshan was a social family drama released in the year of 1978. The movie was directed by Sikander Khanna and produced by Surinder Kapoor. The major roles in the movie were played by Ashok Kumar, Moushmi Chatterjee, Rishi Kapoor and Asrani while the roles of Amjad Khan, Paintal, Mithun Chakraborty, Mukri, Helen and Ranjeet were equally important. The music of the film was directed by Laxmikant Kudalkar and Pyarelal while the songs were sung by Asha Bhosle, Mohammed Rafi, Manna Dey, Lata Mangeshkar and Kishore Kumar.

Phool Khile Hain Gulshan Gulshan was a famous social cum family drama that was liked by many people. The story of the movie revolves around a man named Lala Ganpat Rai ( Ashok Kumar ) who figured out that his grandson named Vishal ( Rishi Kapoor ) had acquired all the bad habits of a rich and spoilt son which also includes drinking alcohol and womanizing. Thus Lala decides that his grandson would not be given any amount from his estate unless he fulfills two of his conditions.

So the two conditions of Lala were as follows, first was that Vishal should marry the girl of Lala’s choice named Shalini who would be given half of the his estate. Other was bit difficult on Vishal’s part that he must re-locate to their farmhouse in a village, cultivate a piece of land, and grow some crops on it within one year. Vishal was unhappy with both the conditions and it was obvious that they were unacceptable to him.
