Police Force - An Inside Story was an action movie released on May 28, 2004 under the banner of K B Picture’s Production. The movie was directed by Dileep Shukla and produced by Kulbhushan Gupta. The actors in the lead roles were Akshay Kumar, Amrish Puri, Raveena Tandon and Raj Babbar while the roles of Mohan Joshi and Govind Namdeo were also important. Music of the film was directed by Milind Chitragupt and the songs were sung by Sonu Nigam, Sadhana Sargam, Richa Sharma, Vinod Rathod and Poornima.

The movie Police Force - An Inside Story was earlier titled as Vidroh and is actually based on a book written by the former IPS officer Y.P. Singh titled “Carnage By Angels”. The movie aims to bring out the internal differences amongst the police officers at different ranks. The movie is so realistic that it brings out the actual differences between the officers. The story of the movie revolves around Vijay ( Akshay Kumar ) who is a trainee police cadet and this middle class man comes from a small town. He is getting his training from honest senior officer Pandey ( Amrish Puri ).

Pandey is the idol of many other cadets as he inscribes the morals of truth and sincerity in them. When Vijay successfully completed his training he got stuck in the corrupt system run by covetous politician Ratan Sethi ( Raj Babbar ) and corrupt senior officer Bhonsle ( Mohan Joshi ). Vijay gets trapped in Bhonsle’s malicious plans but he was rescued by Pandey. Vijay’s love interest is played by Roma ( Raveena Tandon ) in the film. Her father is played by Alok Nath who decides to help Vijay while keeping the law.
