Pyaar Ka Saaya was a family drama released on 29 November, 1991. The movie was produced by B Subash and was directed by Bobby Khan and Vinod Verma. The lead roles in the movie were played by Rahul Roy, Sheeba, Avtar Gill and Mohnish Behl. Some other roles were played by Amtira Singh, Brij Gopal, Babban Yadav and Ghanshyam. The music of the movie was given by Naideem Saifee and Shravan while the songs were sung by Kumar Sanu, Alisha Chinoy and Asha Bhosle. The story writer was B Subash.

The story is a simple one where one kills other for property and money but has been presented brilliantly by the director. In the movie Avinash ( Rahul Roy ), lives along with his uncle and his son, Vimal. His uncle dies giving the entire property to him as Vimal is too much into drinking with no sense of responsibility. Avinash goes to one of the owned house and comes to know that the house has been rented to lady, Gloria ( Sheeba ) by the guard. He on meeting Gloria gets impressed by her and soon they marry their in a little temple.

He comes home and tells all the story to Vimal and Gloria is now Pooja. On one dark night Avinash is killed when the couple was coming from a movie. Few days later a Pandit meets Pooja and tells her that Avinash’s soul is still near her and he wants to tell her something. Pooja thinks him of as an idiot and tells this all to Vimal. Actually, Vimal was the person responsible for his brother’s death at the hands of a local criminal as he wanted the entire property to be his. Will Avinash’s soul be able to protect Pooja, who is next on Vimal’s list?
