Pyaar Ke Side Effects was a comedy movie released on September 15, 2006 under the banner of Pritish Nandy Communications. The movie was directed by Sanket Chaudhary and produced by Pritish Nandy and Rangita Pritish Nandy. The actors in the lead role were Rahul Bose, Suchitra Pillai, Mallika Sherawat and Ranvir Shorey whereas Jas Arora, Sophie Choudry and Sharat Saxena were also there in the film. The music of the film was directed by Pritam Chakraborty and the songs were sung by Labh Jajua, Earl, Rakesh Pandit, Zubin, Sophie and Alisha Chinoy.

The movie Pyaar Ke Side Effects is directed by the debutante director Saket Chaudhary and is based on the subject of relationships between the today’s youths who are ready for having a relationship but not marriage. The movie revolves around two people of which the girl is ready for marriage while the guy is shirking it. Both of them separates as a result but keep on crossing each other’s path at regular intervals. Sid ( Rahul Bose ), a DJ by profession is happy with his life. He has a girlfriend Trisha ( Mallika Sherawat ) and they both are in love for a longer time now.

One day Trisha and Sid were watching a cricket match between India and Australia and just at the extreme of the tensions in the match Trisha proposed to him. Just at the moment he heard the word marriage Sid started panicking as he was not ready for the commitment. Confused Sid went to meet Trisha in her office and ended up asking her to marry him. Sid now started making the arrangements for their marriage; he went to see a wedding ring, furniture and also met Trisha’s parents, which was not a pleasant experience for him.
