The action movie Pyar Ka Karz was released on March 2, 1990. The movie was directed by K Bapaiah and produced by Sushma Shiromani. The actors in the lead roles were enacted by Dharmendra, Meenakshi, Mithun Chakraborty and Asrani while the important roles were played by Shakti Kapoor, Viju Khote and Vinod Mehra. The music of the film was directed by Laxmikant Kudalkar and Pyarelal while the songs were sung by Amit Kumar, Alka Yagnik and Mohammad Aziz.

The movie Pyar Ka Karz was an action cum romantic movie that was directed by the famous director K Bapaiah. The story of the movie revolves around the Bombay based Dr. Naina ( Meenakshi Sheshadri ) who comes across a famous musician and singer, Ravi Shankar ( Mithun Chakraborty ) and both fell in love with each other one day. The twist in the story came when Ravi while returning from a concert in Delhi finds Naina getting married to Shekhar alias Shaka ( Dharmendra ) who is an ex-convict.

Ravi was heart broken that makes him to stop the song singing. He soon comes across Seema Sanyal ( Neelam Kothari ) who was also very beautiful. Both started loving each other and soon get married. They have a baby girl who named them Naina. The twist in the story comes when Seema is killed by Lalji ( Shakti Kapoor ) who was also irritating her with some crank calls. Bombay’s Police Commissioner, Arun Kumar, decides to undertake to arrest Ravi by his own hands.
