Bollywood romantic movie, Pyar Kiya Hai Pyar Karenge, directed by Vijay Reddy was released on July 4, 1986. The movie starred Anil Kapoor and Padmini Kolhapure in lead roles while Anita Raj, Deepak Parashar, Ramesh deo, Satyendra Kapoor, Ashok Kumar, Sushma Seth, and Seema Deo also played significant characters in the film. The hit music of the film was directed by the veteran music director duo Laxmikant-Pyarelal while the songs were rendered by Mohammed Aziz, Shabbir Kumar, Kavita Krishnamurthy and Alka Yagnik.

Despite being a hindu, orphan Anand ( Anil Kapoor ) is brought up by a Muslim guy named Abdul Rehman ( Ashok Kumar ). Anand is a reputed champion skier. He meets with Usha ( Padmini Kolhapure ) and they both falls in love with each other. But Usha’s mother, Annapurna Devi ( Sushma Seth ) does not want her daughter to fall in love with Anand as he is poor. She ask Usha to stop meeting with Anand but Usha refuse to obey her saying. As a result, she prohibits Usha from going outside.

When Anand learns about this, he forcible enters in the house. Ananpurna Devi then promise Anand that she will arrange their marraige. Anand agrres to this but little does he knows is that Usha has been forced to marry Jayant ( Deepak Parashar ). Anand gets heartbroken with this news. He then meets with his boss’s daughter, Shobha ( Anita Raj ), who is in love with him. Soon they both get married. Years after, Anand and Usha meets with each other. What will be the consequences of this meeting?
