Bollywood blockbuster movie, Qurbani, directed by Feroz Khan was released on 20 June 1980. The movie starred Feroz Khan, Vinod Khanna and Zeenat Aman in lead roles while Amrish Puri, Amjad Khan and Shakti Kapoor also played important roles in the movie. The film was distributed under the banner of Feroz Khan International. The hit music of the film was given by the famous duo Kalyanji-Anandji and the songs were sung by Nazia Hassan, Anand Kumar, Kanchan, Manhar Udhas, Asha Bhosle, Mohammed Rafi, Amit Kumar and Kishore Kumar. Pakistani singer, Nazia Hassan won the Filmfare Best Female Playback Award for the song ‘Aap jaisa koi meri zndagi mein aaye’.

The movie starts with Rajesh ( Feroz Khan ), who is a thief. Rajesh is in love with Sheela ( Zeenat Aman ), who is a disco club singer and dancer. Rajesh is blackmailed by villain Vikram ( Shakti Kapoor ) and his sister Jwala ( Aruna Irani ) in order to take revengefrom Rakka ( Amrish Puri ). They wants Rajesh to do the job for them otherwise they will kill his lover, Sheela. Rajesh meets a young widower, Amar ( Vinod Khanna ) and his daughter Tina ( Natasha Chopra ).

Amar meets with Rajesh lover’s Sheela and falls in love with her. But when he expresses his love to Sheela, she strongly opposes hhimas she loves Rajesh. Unknown to Sheela, Amar and Rajesh are very close friend. Both the friends plans to steal gold bars and jewelery from a safe so that they can live the rest of the life peacefully. But unfortunatley things don‘t go according to plan. Police arrests Rajesh in the murder case of Rakka and construe that Amar has framed Rajesh into the case.
