Bollywood movie, Raaj Tilak, directed by Raj Kumar Kohli and written by Inder Raj Anand was released in the year 1984. The movie starred Raaj Kumar, Dharmendra and Hema Malini in lead roles while Sunil Dutt, Reena Roy, Ranjeet, Pran, Madan Puri, Pran, Ranjeeta Kaur, Ajit, Sulochana Latkar, Raza Murad, Sarika, Yogeeta Bali, Raj Kiran and Om Prakash also played significant characters in the film. The melodious music of the film was directed by the well know music director duo Kalyanji-Anandji while the songs were rendered by Kishore Kumar, Sadhana Sargam etc.

Samadh Singh ( Raaj Kumar ) is the loyal employee of the king. He alongwith King’s brother-in-law Arjun Singh ( Pran ) comes to the rescue of KIng when he was surrounded by his enemies, Bhavani Singh ( Ajit ) and Ranjeet ( Madan Puri ). King’s son is abducted by a bandit named Jala Khan ( Raza Murad ) due to which Rani gets distraught. Arjun Singh offers his son to Rani. But Bhavani Singh makes a plan and replaces Arjun’s son with his own son. Now years later, yuvraaj Shamsher Singh ( Raj Kiran ), who is actually Bhavai’s osn, imprisons his very own mother as she was about to announce that he is not eligible to become the new king.

He starts creating problems for the masses and as a result creats a bad image of himself among them. Arjun Singh tries to noppose him but he is also announced as a traitor and is also imprisoned by him. He continues to torchore masses but how long will this go? Where is the real prince who was abducted by Jalal? And if he is not alive then who will stop Shamsher Singh form becoming the next king?
