Raakh was a crime cum social drama that was released in the year of 1989. The movie was directed by Aditya Bhattacharya and produced by Asif Noor. The major roles in the movie were played by Aamir Khan, Naina Balsavar, Supriya Pathak and Pankaj Kapoor while the roles of Jagdeep, Madhukar Toradkar and Ahmed Khan were also important. The music of the film was directed by Ranjit Barot while the movie was edited by Sreekar Prasad.

Raakh was a movie that was full of crime and action at regular intervals. The movie was the second film of the famous actor Aamir Khan and it was almost impossible to find out that an actor who had done only one film earlier could perform so better in the second film. The story of the movie revolves around Aamir Hussain Khan ( Aamir Khan with his real name ) who one day gets involved in a fight with a goon and as a result his ex-girlfriend Nita ( Supriya Pathak ) gets raped.

This thing was not liked by Aamir and he blames himself for his girlfriend’s rape. This made him feel bad and wanted to take revenge from all the people who were involved in the rape. He comes across a good cop Inspector P.K. ( Pankaj Kapur ) who was also troubled by the same goons and thus was ready to help Aamir. In fact the cop was more worried about his job being in danger and so he was all set to help Aamir with his revenge.
