Bollywood action thriller, Raghuveer, directed by K. Pappu was released in the year 1995. The movie starred Suniel Shetty and Shilpa Shirodkar in lead roles while Suresh Obeori, Sudha Chandran, Gulshan Grover, Prem Chopra, Mohnish Behl and Rana Jung Bahadur also played important characters in the film. The msuic of the film was given by Sameer Sen and Dilip Sen in collaboration while the songs were sung by Sukhwinder Singh, Kumar Sanu, Alka Yagnik, Sadhana Sargam and Poornima. The movie proved out to be a huge box office failure of that year.

The movie starts with Raghuveer Verma ( Suniel Shetty ), who is living a happy life with his elder brother, Ravi Verma ( Suresh Oberoi ), his wife Aarti Verma ( Sudha Chandran ) and their baby girl. Ravi is an honest police officer, who has been assigned as the head of Chief Minister’s, Sevak Ram ( Prem Chopra ) security team. Raghuveer beats a guy named Bittu ( Rana Jung Bahadur ), who tries to do illegal work in the college premises. But instead of arresting Bittu, Police arrest Raghuveer. However, Chief Minister uses his power and release Raghuveer for his security officer’s Ravi’s wish.

Raghuveer is a type of person who can’t tolerate any injustice. Raghuveer decides to stop all the illegal activities in the town on his own. He makes a team and starts working in the nights. Raghuveer comes in the contact of Nitiram Chanakya ( Gulshan Grover ) and his younger brother Ganpat ( Mohnish Behl ), who are doing all the illegal activities in the city. And in this they recieves help from Cheif Minister, Sevak Ram.
