Bollywood actor, Rahul Bose, was born on July 27, 1967 in India. He completed his graduation from Sydenham College. He made his debut with a negative role in Ajay Devgan starrer Takshak. After that he was seen in the film titled Mr. & Mrs. Iyer in which he shared screen space with Konkona Sen Sharma. The film recieved good reviews from audiences as well as critics. He then did a commercial film titled Jhankaar Beats opposite Rinki Khanna. The movie did average business at the box office but Rahul won good reviews for his performance.

His next film came in the form of Mumbai Matinee which failed to impress the audience and resulted in a big flop. The same thing happened with his next film titled Ek Din 24 Ghante in which he was co starred by Nandita Das. He then worked opposite beautiful Kareena Kapoor in Chameli. The movie was about a common man and a prostitute. Both the actors gave their best in their performance and won several acclaims from critics and audience. He was then seen in a multistarrer flick, Silsilay, which completely failed to do well at the box office for him.

Later he worked opposite sex-siren Mallika Shehrawat in romantic comedy Pyaar Ke Side effect. the movie did exceptioanlly well at the box office. He did some flop movies after that. But soon he made a big return with a hit film in the form of Shaurya in which he played an Army man for the first time. He once again starred opposite Mallika in Maan Gaye Mughal-E-Azam but this time the duo failed to create the same chemistry like before. His last released Tahaan was also neglected by the audiences.
