Former bollywood superstar, Rajesh Khanna, was born as Jatin Khanna on December 29, 1942 in Punjab, India. He is married to former beautiful bollywood actress, Dimple Kapadia and they have two daughters named Twinkle Khanna and Rinki Khanna. Current bollywood star Akshay Kumar is the son-in-law of Rajesh. Rajesh made his bollywood debut with Aakhri Raat but the movie failed to do well at the box office. His first big hit came in the form of 1969 released Aradhana opposite gorgeous Sharmila Tagore.

His next hit also came with Sharmila in the form of 1970 released Safar. He won Fimfare Best Actor award for his performance in Saccha Jhoota opposite Mumtaz. He played the double role for the first time in this film. He won several acclaims for his performance in Kati Patang in which he starred opposite Asha Parekh. He won his second Filmfare Best Actor Award for Anand. He gave a series of hit films in the form of Aan Milo Sajna, Andaaz, Mehboob Ki Mehndi etc.

He left acting in the start of 90’s and became an M.P. of New Delhi Constituency. Later he made a comeback in the bollywood industry in year 1999 with Akshaye Khanna and Aishwarya Rai starrer Aa Ab Laut Chalein. He also played a supporting roles in Tusshar Kapoor and Esha Deol starrer Kya Dil Ne Kaha. His lasr released film was Jana: Let’s Fall In Love which also starred Zeenat Aman in an important role.
