Bollywood movie Raju Ban Gaya Gentleman, directed and produced by Aziz Mirza was released on 13 Nov 1992. Shahrukh Khan, Juhi Chawla and Amrita Singh played the lead roles in the movie while Nana Patekar and Naveen Nischol did important roles too in the movie. The movie did well at the box office and Shahrukh was praised by the audience for his brillinat performance in the movie.

The movie starts with a young and intelligent, Raj Mathur aka Raju ( Shahrukh Khan ), who has completed his engineering course from Darjeeling. He comes to Bombay in the hope of making it big as an hard working and intelligent engineer. He arrives in a locality where his relatives resides. But after arriving there he discovers that he has left years before. He meets a guy named Jai ( Nana Patekar ) and befriends him. Jai arranges a place to stay for him. Raju starts his search for a good job but fails at every place.

Raju then meets a beautiful girl Renu ( Juhi Chawla ), who is also living in his locality. Renu gets attracted by Raju’s simplicity and intelligence. She finds him a job as a trainee in a company where she is working as a secretary of the businessman Mr. Chabaria ( Navin Nischol ). Raju with his intelligence and unique ways gets the attention of Sapna ( Amrita Singh ), daughter of Mr. Chabaria. Sapna falls in love with Raju. In the mean time Raju discovers that he has a soft corner for Renu. Raju comes to know that Renu too have the same feeling for him. Sapna also expresses her love to Raju. Now raju has to decide which girl he should marry. But besides this there are many other things also in the store for him.
