Bollywood movie, Raksha, directed by Ravikant Nagaich was released in the year 1981. The movie starred Jeetendra and Parveen Babi in lead roles while Iftekhar, Agha, Moushami Chatterjee, Birbal, Gorilla, Prem Chopra, Goga Kapoor, Suresh Oberoi, Satyendra kapoor and Ranjeet also played important characters in the film. The melodious music of the movie was composed by the well knwon veteran music director Rahul Dev Burman while the songs were beautifully crooned by Kishore Kumar, Moahmmed rafi, Asha bhonsle etc.

A bomb is planted in the plane carrying Dr. Srivastava ( Sateyndra Kapoor ), who is the chief scientist of India working on a secret research. Agent 116 aka Gopalkishen Pandey ( Jeetendra ) is assign the job of disclosing the persons involved in the case. Gopal’s fiancee, Asha ( Moushami Chatterjee ) was killed by a gunmen, who was actually appointed for killing him only. Gopal starts his investigation though. His investigation take him to a beautiful cabaret dancer named Bijli ( Parveen babi ).

Gopal befirends her and soon revelas that she is not who she claims to be. He learns that she is actually the daughter of Kedar ( Sajjan ), who mysteriously enters in the story. The another character who appears to be connected with the case is Daulatram ( Ranjeet ), who is the boss of Kedar. Gopal continues his investigation but soon understands that his enemy is more intellegent than him.
