Ram Kasam was an action flick that was released on September 22, 1978. The movie was directed by Chand and produced by S D Narang. The main roles in the movie were played by Sunil Dutt, Amjad Khan, Rekha and Bindu while the presence of Nirupa Roy, Bindiya Goswami, Sudhir, Sapru, Jeevan and Jankidas supported the film. The music of the film was directed by Omi Sonik while the songs were sung by Asha Bhosle, Manna Dey, Mahendra Kapoor, Lata Mangeshkar and Mohammed Rafi.

The female lead in the movie was played by Rekha who has also provided Bollywood with many hit movies. She made her debut with the movie Neela released in 1935. She has also sung the songs for various movies.
