The action movie Ramkali was released in the year of 1985. The movie was directed by Shyam Rahlan and produced by Ashok. The main roles in the movie were played by Vikas Anand, Hema Malini, Shatrughan Sinha and Suresh Oberoi while the presence of Ranjeet, Kader Khan, Jagdeep, Sudhir, Nirupa Roy, Bhagwan and Birbal supported the film. The music of the film was directed by Omi Sonik while the songs were sung by Asha Bhonsle, Narendra Chanchal, Mahendra Kapoor and Shailendra Singh.

The movie Ramkali was an action film that revolved mostly around a man named Sultan Singh ( Shatrughan Sinha ) who is a Police Inspector by profession and lives a poor but happy life with his mother Rukmani ( Nirupa Roy ), and father Ram Singh. The movie starts when one day Sultan was asked by his superior officers to work in the region of his village under the Police Inspector Rajiv Chouhan ( Ramesh Deo ), to which he agrees.

The movie takes a turn when Sultan visits his home and finds that his parents were on the verge of destitution. His own father Ram Singh was like a bonded labor of Thakur Shankar Singh ( Kader Khan ) and his equally cruel brothers Bhushan ( Bhushan Tiwari )and Zaalim ( Goga Kapoor ). He decides to control the things but ends up killing one of Thakur’s servants and was arrested by Inspector Chouhan. But he somehow managed to escape and became a bandit himself.
