Red Rose was an adult thriller movie that was released in the year of 1980. The movie was directed by Bharathi Raja and produced by M P Jain and Ravi Kumar. The major roles in the movie were played by Rajesh Khanna, Prem Chopra, Poonam Dhillon and Om Shiv Puri while the roles of Asrani, Aruna Irani, Satyen Kappu, Roopesh Kumar, Shammi, Keshto Mukherjee and Shashi Kiran were equally important. The music of the film was directed by R D Burman while the songs were sung by Kishore Kumar and Asha Bhosle.

Red Rose was a thriller film that was appreciated by many people. The story of the movie revolved mostly around a man named Anand ( Rajesh Khanna ) who lived a comfortable and wealthy life with his family in Bombay in a palatial house. He is a big businessman and runs a business with the name of ‘Export India’. The movie starts when one day he was out on the shopping and comes across a girl whom he liked very much that he instantly fell in love with her.

While on shopping, Anand goes in the Roopsagar Clothing Store and meets one of the Sales Clerks’ named Sharda ( Poonam Dhillon ) and falls in love with her instantly. He proposes to her and she also confesses her love to him. Both get married at the Registrar of Marriages. Sharda soon gets settled and establishes a Devi Maa Durga Mandir but her life takes a turn when she discovers a past from Anand’s past life.
