Rehguzar was a social movie that released on November 17, 2006 under the banner of Elfit Exports (p) Ltd. The movie had been directed by Faruq Masudi and produced by Kesar Kothari. The actors in the lead roles were Jimmy Shergill, Rakesh Bedi and Saloni Aswani whereas supporting roles were played by Vrajesh Hirjee, Rajiv Verma and Mushtaq Khan.music of the film had been directed by Aadesh Shrivastav and the songs were sung by Aadesh Shrivastav, Shreya Ghosal, Alisha Chinoy, Shaan, Sukhwinder Singh and Alka Yagnik.

The story of the movie is based upon the real experience of its producer Kesar Kothari during his visit to the Gulf. The movie raises an important topic of today’s youths who wants to make quick and big money. In pursue of their dreams and success they land up migrating to the Gulf and hopes to produce big money and gets abused by the people there. Most people today believe that they can be successful if they move abroad but the movie depicts the myth about this fact as this can be only achieved through hardwork.

The story revolves around Rahul ( Jimmy Shergill ), engineer from India, who wants to get famous and rich quickly and with these dreams in his eyes he move to Dubai. Soon he realizes that it was not that easy to become successful as he thought. He has to go through several difficult times and comes across a beautiful lady Neha ( Saloni Aswani ), daughter of a rich Indian businessman ( Rajiv Verma ). Comical element to the serious movie is added by the best friends of Rahul, Vrajesh Hirjee and Rakesh Bedi who are the greatest fans of Amitabh Bachchan.
