Risk was an action drama that released on January 19, 2007 under the banner of K Sera Sera. The movie has been directed by Vishram Sawant and produced by Parag Sanghavi. The actors in the lead roles were Vinod Khanna, Tanushree Datta, Randeep Hooda and Seema Biswas while roles of Yashpal Sharma, Zakir Hussain, Makrand Deshpande and Anant Jog were also important. The music of the film had been directed by Akbar Sami, Tutul, Bapi and Sandesh Shandilya. The songs of the movie were sung by Sonu Kakkar, Kunal Ganjawala and Krishna.

The movie Risk is the second production of director Vishram Sawant and the theme of the movie is based on the dilemma of an honest police officer who is stuck between the loyalty towards his duty and love for his family and other loved ones. The movie can be a true example of a salute to the brave soldiers of our country who put their lives in danger inspite of knowing about the corrupt system. The story is about an honest cop Suryakant Satam ( Randeep Hooda ) who is in deep love with a dancer Shradha ( Tanushree Datta ).

Risk also raises the issue of side effects faced by the families of the honest cops. Suryakant is very loyal to his duties and this is why he has given it the first priority before his family. Being honest in this corrupt system is not easy and poses many risks. His duty demands risks and this can change his life forever. Khalid ( Vinod Khanna ) is the don in the film and he is the person who can change Suryakant’s life in an instant. Suryakant is stuck in a situation where his duty needs commitment from him along with the commitment needed by his love life.
