Road to Sangam is a patriotic movie currently under production and will be releasing soon in 2009 under the banner of Shethia Audio Video Productions. The movie is directed by Amit Rai and produced by Amit Chheda. The major roles in the movie are played by Paresh Rawal, Pawan Malhotra, Om Puri and Javed Sheikh while the roles of Swati Chitnis, Yusuf Hussain, Masood Akhtar, Rajan Bhise and Sudhir Nema are equally important. The music of the film is directed by Vijay Mishra, Sandesh Shandilya and Vijay Mishra while the songs are sung by Kirti Sagathia, Hariharan, Kailash Kher and Kavita Krishnamurthy.

Road to Sangam is a patriotic movie that revolves mostly around characters Husmatullah ( Paresh Rawal ) who is a metric fail mechanic who not only knows how to repair a car but also knows that it is the constitution of many small parts that form one big entity. He is brilliant in his field and is known by many people for that. Another character is Mohammad Ali Kasuri ( Om Puri ) who is an authoritative Muslim figure of his area. He is a man with some bitter past but is obeyed by all people in his area.

Maulana Qureshi ( Pawan Malhotra ) is an extremist who knows how to manipulate the laws for his own benefits. Dr.Banerjee ( Javed Shaikh ) is a close friend of Husmatullah and more like his brother. Though both the people belonged to different religion but both were always close to each other so much that their friendship has always remained rock solid in the testing times. Husmatullah was helped by his friend in his hard times.
