The animated movie Roadside Romeo is going to release on October 24, 2008 under the banners of Yash Raj Films. The movie is being directed by Jugal Hansraj and produced by Aditya Chopra. Since the movie is animation movie there is no star cast in the film but the voices of the dogs are given by Saif Ali Khan, Javed Jaffrey and Kareena Kapoor. The music of the film is directed by Salim Merchant and Sulaiman Merchant while the songs are sung by Kunal Ganjawalla, Sunidhi Chauhan, K K, sudesh Bhonsle and Gayatri Iyer.

Several animation movies are being produced in the Bollywood these days and after the success of movies like Hanuman, more and more animation movies are being produced. Romeo ( voice given by Saif Ali Khan ) is a small cute dog owned by a rich human family. He is good looking pet dog and lives the life of a rich dog. He has the best food to eat, a servant waiting for his orders and also the rich friends. Like Romeo, there is also a female dog who is hot and rich Laila ( voice given by Kareena Kapoor ). She plays the lead singer at the Moonlight Nightclub and makes every male dog crazy over her performance.

In spite of being so popular Laila was lone all because of the Don of the city Charlie Anna ( voice given by Javed Jaffrey ). Everyone was terrified by his anger and didn’t want to indulge in activities that he doesn’t like. He is a fat, ugly and dirty looking dog. The story of the movie revolves around Romeo living in big house and having everything with him. He comes across four stray dogs that scares him but his loving nature win their hearts over and becomes their friend.
