The thriller movie Rog was released on January 7, 2005 under the banner of Shreya Creations. The movie was directed by Himanshu Brahmbhatt and produced by Sujit Kumar Singh and Pooja Bhatt. The actors in the significant roles were Irrfan Khan, Ilene Hamman, Himanshu Mallik and Suhel Seth while the supporting roles were played by Munish Makhija and Akiv Ali. Music of the film was directed by M M Kreem and the songs were sung by K K, Shreya Ghosal, Udit Narayan and M M Kreem.

The role of lead actress is played by model Ilene Hamman who had impressed the producer Pooja Bhatt with her looks. With this film she has also become the fist South African model to play a lead role in a Bollywood film. It seems that producer Pooja Bhatt is addicted to the psychology of erotica. The movie is on similar line with movie Jism but is served with several twists and turns. The story of the film is about a distressed police officer who falls in love with the dead body of a woman whose murder he is investigating.

Inspector Uday Rathore ( Irfaan ) has been asked to investigate the case of model Maya Solomon ( Ilene ). His suspicion is mostly on her friend Harsh ( Suhel Seth ) who is a happy-go-lucky journalist and Maya’s fiancé Ali ( Himanshu ) who is a rich man who enjoys partying. Uday gets fascinated by Maya and spends time watching her photographs, reading her diaries. He started drinking in her home and also sleeping where she used to sleep. The twist in the story comes when she appears before him alive.
