Bollywood comedy action thriller, Roop Ki Rani Choron Ka Raja, directed by Satish Kaushik was released on April 16,1993. The movie starred Anil Kapoor and Sridevi in lead roles while Jackie Shroff, Anupam Kher, Paresh RawalAjit Cachani, Dalip Tahil and Johnny Lever also played important roles in the movie. The msuic of the film was given by veteran musioc director duo Laxmikant-Pyarelal while the songs were rendered by Amit Kumar, Vinod Rathod, Kavita Krishnamurthy, Bali Brahmbhatt etc. The movie was a box office hit and once again proved the worth of hit jodi of Anil and Sridevi.

The movie starts with Jagmohan Gujral ( Anupam Kher ), who is involved in many criminal activities. However, his twin brother, Manmohan is a reputed white color person. Jagmohan kills his twin brother and starts living dual life of Jagmohan and Manmohan in order to keep himself protected from police. In process of escaping from police he kills a custom officer and a doctor. Years later, Ramesh Verma aka Romeo ( Anil Kapoor ), who is the son of that custom officer, becomes a conman and works for Girdharilal ( Paresh Rawal ).

Seema ( Sridevi ), daughter of the doctor killed by Jagmohan in past, is also living as a career thief. Seema is assigned by Jagmohan for performing a big robbery and he wants her to convince Ramesh also to perform this robbery. Seema needs to do this because Jagmohan has made a promise to her that after that robbery, he will tell her the name of her father’s killer. Seema somehow convinces Ramesh to peform this robbery for her. But this is not an easy task at all because this time, Inspector Ravi Verma ( Jackie Shroff ) is all set to catch them.
